Review by hotel critic
The serene surroundings and proximity to nature were truly a highlight, offering a peaceful retreat from the urban hustle. The room, albeit simple, was clean and cozy, suitable for a short stay. The shared bathroom was well-maintained, and the provided breakfast showcased fresh monastery produce. While the lack of certain amenities like Wi-Fi or a flat-screen TV might deter some, the off-site car park and easy access to the forest for a morning stroll were definite advantages. The welcome drink was a nice touch, adding a personal feel to the stay. For those seeking a genuine Bavarian experience on a budget, Kloster Neustadt strikes a good balance between comfort and cost. Consider this option for a no-frills yet enjoyable retreat in beautiful Bavaria.
